These truly artistic and collectible wire baskets were developed to
expand the concept of weaving into contemporary interiors. They earned
an inaugural WOW! Swing label by Elle Decoration Magazine giving recognition
to excellence in South African design. Developing the exclusive
ZenZulu range focusing on new colour, design and market trends was
combined with instructions from a traditional Master Weavers.
These baskets are now a source of income and pride for a group of
Zulu women involved in the art centre’s training programme.
